Bev Stone is an award winning children’s book author and artist. She was introduced to art at an early age and that introduction started her on her journey. “I can’t remember when art wasn’t a part of my life. Whether it’s an old building, a scene I’d like to remember, or a whimsical thought I’d like to portray, painting is my way of composing. I find I learn something new every time I pick up a paint brush.” Recently Bev started illustrating some of the many children’s stories she’s written over the years.
They Told Us Something Wonderful Was Coming, The Best You Can Be, Snowpuppies and The Red and Black Ladybug, are some of the children’s books written and illustrated by Bev. Her paintings and books can be found at the Full Moon Gallery in Twin Falls and her books can also be found on amazon.com and online at Barnes and Noble.
Bev paints in both watercolor and oil and has written 9 children’s books to date. Her 10th is due out at the end of this year. All profits from the sale of her books go into her non-profit for children.
