Growing up in Michigan amid the hardwood forests displaying their leafy beauty with the autumn season was and has been an inspiration. Working with wood started in high school with a hiatus until moving to Idaho in 1972.
Since then my work has been with American hardwoods, quarter sawn oak, walnut, cherry, alder, and maple constructing various pieces of furniture for a family of three children and seven grandchildren. Recently bowl turning from the left over pieces of the above hard woods had opened a new avenue to pursue and lead to selling at holiday bazaars.
